SMX Israel is the leading convention of the search engine marketing in Israel. SMX Israel 2013 will be on Sunday, January 6, at the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem. Like previous events, SMX Israel 2013 will be a full day of discussions, Q&A sessions and networking breaks. This year, Google’s John Mueller will be a key speaker this year; the Senior Webmaster Trends Analyst from Google Switzerland will talk via video conference on common technical issues that may obstacle a website visibility on search engines, internationalism, Rich snippets, duplicate content and more.

SMX Jerusalem 2012

SMX Israel will begin on 9:00 AM and end on 17:45. In between, the day will include 24 sessions divided into three simultaneous tracks of 45 minutes each (eight sessions on every track) and a lunch break. The conference will be attended by many search marketing experts from Israel and abroad including SEO, PPC and social media specialists as well as experts in neighboring fields such as legal issues in search, analytics and conversion optimization.

Predictably, Google Penguin update will be unavoidable at the SMX Israel 2013 and the Google algorithm change will be the main subject of two separate sessions: Link Building After Penguin, on 10:00 and on 11:00, Surviving Panda, Penguin & The Zoo, both on Track A. Link Building After Penguin moderator will be Olivier Amar of Point Up Media and the speakers will be Aaron Friedman of Spark, Marc Levy of 3 Door Digital and Jim Boykin of Internet Marketing Ninjas and Surviving Panda, Penguin & The Zoo moderator will be nekuda’s Gilad Sasson and the speakers will be  Eli Feldblum of RankAbove, Uri Breitman of TBWA and Jim Boykin of Internet Marketing Ninjas.

SMX Israel 2012

This year’s SMX will dedicate a panel to Mobile SEO Techniques, YouTube and Video Optimization, Pagination & Canonicalization, social media advertising among other issues. There will also be one non-PowerPoint discussion that aims to foresee the future of SEO and search. Except for the Hebrew SEO session, all discussions will speak English. For those who see the discussions as a long break between networking meetings a party will be held later in the evening (details will be followed).
