Google PageRank has been apparently updated according to several blog posts and forum discussions (For example: SEORoundTable and WebmasterWorld.) It is Google’s fourth PageRank update in the last six months.

Google PageRank (or PR in short) is a 0-10 grade the search engine gives to website. The rank is determined by several parameters including the quality and quantity of incoming link, the website age and others. Recently the significance attributed to Google PageRank in search engine optimization has been reduced. Reports about Google PageRank updates continue to stir up discussions online, but do not cause SEO people to update their marketing strategy accordingly.
