As in every month, Google search engine has summarized the recent month’s algorithm changes.

On February 2012, Google algorithm underwent 40 changes, some of them already at the beginning of the month and others will be completed during the last remained days of the month. Alongside update of Turkey weather searches and reorganization of Google Korea search results, Google announced a new update to the Panda system, which is “making it more accurate and more sensitive to recent changes on the web.”

Other updates that are worth mentioning include changes in link evaluation. Google has changed the way they are evaluating links and actually turned off the link analysis method that was used by now. Google also fixed some weaknesses in the Spam protection, expanded the related searches section and tuned the autocomplete algorithm to avoid offensive autocomplete terms.
