Google has announced<\/a> improve the health search results. Following the improvement, searching symptoms on Google (for example \u2013 trouble breathing) would display the possible causes\u00a0and health conditions (for example: asthma, heart attack, etc). The improvement did not come into effect in all Google search engines.<\/p>\n

80% of internet users look for health information and diagnose their and their relatives’ health condition using Google search engine. Google has changed the way search results of medical information is displayed in order to shorten the time between searching for information about symptoms and finding the relevant medical data. However, Google emphasize that the list of health conditions “is aggregated from what\u2019s written on the web about the symptoms you searched. The list is not authored by doctors and of course is not advice from medical experts” \u00a0and that the information did not undergo any human editing or intervention and it is all a result of Google algorithm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
