Bing Webmaster Guidelines stated purpose is to help websites to be found and indexed by the search engine crawler and they include technical recommendations, SEO guidelines and a list of activities to avoid.<\/p>\n<p>These guidelines can be found on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bing.com\/webmaster\/help\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bing Webmaster Help Center<\/a>. Bing will also hold a series of webinars that will explore the guidelines topics. The webinar details and registration form are at: <a href=\"http:\/\/swrt.worktankseattle.com\/series\/95\/seriessignup.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">http:\/\/swrt.worktankseattle.com\/series\/95\/seriessignup.aspx<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Bing vs. Google Webmaster Guidelines<\/h2>\n<p>Comparing to Google Webmaster Guidelines, Bing guidelines are less detailed, but they still cover the same topics more or less. Both Google and Bing emphasize the importance of website content that is unique and updated website content, which is also readable by the search engine crawling bots. Unlike Google, Bing do mention the explicit SEO word and note that \u201cSearch engine optimization is a valid practice which seeks to improve a website, making content easier to find and more relevant.\u00a0\u201c<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nekuda.co.il\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/bing-1.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1548\" title=\"bing search engine\" src=\"https:\/\/www.nekuda.co.il\/en\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/bing-300x177-1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"177\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bing also mention <a title=\"Social Media\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nekuda.co.il\/en\/seo-glossary\/social-media\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social media<\/a> role in search engine ranking. One of the activities they recommend avoiding is social media schemes and refer to automatic programs designed to artificially increase the number of fans or followers.<\/p>\n<p>Bing recommends on building an inbound and outbound link plan. They suggest creating <a title=\"Inbound Link\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nekuda.co.il\/en\/seo-glossary\/inbound-link\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">inbound links<\/a> using social sites or simply by asking different sites for links.
